A vary pleasant place to stay lovely food great breakfast nice surroundings great staff comfortable rooms good food friendly and homely.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere!! Best pies ever
Drove out today to enjoy a end of week pint. Been here many times before and always enjoyed good service and a nice welcome. But today we waited in line for a table only to be turned away because we "hadn't booked". The people behind us in the que obviously knew the landlord and were told " I'm not sure we have room at the inn for you". But after turning us away they gave a table to them! We'd literally just had time to get into the car and turn it round before we noticed them outside (it was outside seating only).
Feel really let down. Like a friend has shown you the door for no reason.
Nice pub to have a quiet drink. Pleasant staff
We had a super meal here and lots of fun too
