Nice, spacious place. Was 100% dead in there at 9 o'clock on a night in February, but I'd imagine it picks up later in the night. My one gripe, is that I have never ever been somewhere where you can't use the pool tables because 'the pool cues are all broken'. Ummm, huh? What kind of establishment wouldn't nip accross to argos and get some new ones?? Baffled me.

Not the place for a relaxing beer. Geared up for the very young backwards wearing baseball cap clientele. Most of the conversations you could hear we regarding crimes the fantasy sharers were making up to impress their mates. on the positive has a good selection of drinks and the staff do the best they can to make the place as welcoming as it can be.

Its an Ok pub, great view and famtastic to visit during summer....they don't do food though, which is a real money making miss for them!

We dropped in here after visiting the football ground in search of more sport - the 6 Nations rugby to be precise. It's not really an ale place so we made do with Guinness whilst the girls had cocktails. The barman on duty was friendly and helpful and even switched one of the TVs to a football game to appease one of our crowd. That said we were pretty much the only people in the place so doesn't seem loved by locals (or at least not at tea time on a Saturday). Overall nothing to complain of but nothing to make me go back either.
