Easy to find in the town centre, visited for first time as I was in the area for a short break. Atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was lovely as well, prices were as to be expected with it being a Weatherspoons. Quick service and clean tables.
Quite a welcoming and spacious venue.
Ordered via the app and food was received quite quickly, steak i ordered was cooked as requested (medium/rare) but was still a little tough. Some chips were also cooked rare on all 3 meals ordered but overall a pleasant experience
Some of the staff very unfriendly with no customer service with the way they treat customers ect? The same go's for some of door security people at the weekends, shocking? Also the beer can more than often be below par ? The food not to bad but can be luke warm at times especially the breakfasts ? Toilets sometimes very dirty especially at nights?
Clean toilets, great food Quick, fresh and hot. Plenty of seating and there is also plenty of pay and display carparks. Free 2.5hours on a Sunday. Bonus!! Staff seemed cheerful but quiet, didn't check up on us. Not a big deal though. Overall, would eat there again
Typical Wetherspoons pub. You know what to expect and this met all expectations. The pub itself is attractive, old style and has a Riverside beer garden with views of the church. Covid19 is well managed, using their app to order.
