Great pub with fantastic food for mid day and we will pop in again when we are next in Boston

Yeah, can't go far wrong with The Britannia, it's an old faithful. Used to use it in my youth when old Len Osbourne used to run it. Later in life I also helped to run it, and now Bev who runs it, she's great. Nice boozer.

The Britannia has recently re-opened following a refurbishment, under the stewardship of Simon Harrison and John Campion, previously of the Stump and Candle in Boston . The pub is now Boston’s main Fun Bar, with weekend entertainment, and is licensed until 2.30 am. The Britannia serves real ales, chilled lagers, fruit cider and a wide range of spirits and shots. For those wanting a hot drink, fresh ground coffee is available . Facilities include a riverside terrace, a pool room, a boxing machine, 3 dance areas, multi screen TVs and comfortable booth seating. On Friday nights resident DJs play a mixture of modern and classic music and Saturday nights have regular guest DJ slots, including renowned local DJ and producer Pete Martine. Best of all, there is no admission charge
