Lovely place to have afternoon cream tea. We had a selection of finger sandwiches made freshly for us, on white and granary (egg mayo, tuna mayo + cucumber, cheese + pickle) plus a selection of dainty cakes and cream scone. Very nice seating area and very friendly staff.

Very average..small portions..put into a small Quiet secluded area for Groupon buyers...service was excellent..but the food wasnt...nice place in the orangery/conservatory..if only we could sit with the other diners..also we had 2 of the smallest glasses of wine known to man And only had a choice of gammon or fish for sunday dinner!!....say no more..

Great food. However no premium lager on tap, hence the 4 stars.....

Has changed a lot since my last visit 7 years ago. The new rooms at the back of the hotel are fantastic
