Student Beehive Kingfisher Halls

Great location. Really convenience. Full-equipped facilities. Nice and warm staff. The Halls are not far from the university and the town centre, which is just located between them. It takes a couple of minutes to go to the campus. The staff are really nice. They helped me out when I got stuck during the past year. I am really appreciative of what they did for me. I really enjoy to live in here, and highly recommend the Halls to other mates. Five stars.

The worst accommodation and manager. My expensive clothes and stuff have been stolen but the manager avoided to take his responsibility even though he left the door opened for a few days. I believe the manager and Student Beehive never help students staying in their accommodation when students meet problems. The manager asked me to move to another room where they supplied due to their re-modelling the house. Then I and the manager agreed that I can leave my stuff in my room and we set the date when I take my stuff back. BUT, the manager opened the door of my room for cleaning and left the door opened for a few days. (He did NOT give any information about that for me.) My expensive clothes and stuff (valuable more than 2000 pounds) have been stolen. I complained about the theft to the manager but he only said: "I CANNOT HELP YOU". He did NOT even apologise about that. I also emailed the Student Beehive but I couldn't get any help. ———————————————————— Hi. Thank you for your comment. I’m really surprised that I got the reply from Student Beehive in only 2 days through the Google review. When I emailed Student Beehive team, I received a reply in 4 days after I sent 2 emails. I replied them as soon as I got the email from them but I have NOT received any answer so far. They suggested me to report this to the police. (According to your comment, is this the resolution offer?) I have reported this case to the police before I sent the emails to the team but I could not get any actual help. I also mentioned this on email but I have NOT any answer from the Student Beehive team. I also have talked with Student Beehive team through phone call but I couldn’t get any help as well. If I didn’t lose my stuff by thief, I also would not need to waste my time and emotion on this thing. I got only final reminder email from the manager about only contract. In addition, I lost my key for old room in July so I paid 50 pounds for the new key. The manager gave me a wrong key, after that, he has NOT provided me a proper key. So I couldn’t access to my old room for taking my stuff. HE GOT THE MONEY FOR THE KEY, BUT HE DID NOT GIVE ME THE KEY. I made agreement with the manager about the exact date to move my stuff from the old room to studio and when I asked the manager whether I can leave my stuff in old room or not. The manager said “OK”. If the manager would leave the door opened, he must have said “NO”. Moreover, HE DID NOT APOLOGISE AND SUPPORT ANY HELP TO RESOLVE THE CASE.

Really enjoyed my stay during my masters, very close to campus and good value for money. Staff were lovely and very helpful with any issues would 100% recommend

The staff at Kingfishers have always been really friendly and helpful, when I had an issue with my room it was sorted out straight away. Enjoyed my time here!
