Firstly I should state I have only had food here and not stayed the night as I live locally.
The bison farm is the best place for high quality food, I can hands down say they have the best sausages and burgers for miles and its very well priced.
If you love burgers try the gourmet burger its a life changer! I have to stop myself from going there everyday its that good!
Nice site, we were next to the dog walk and the noise of peoples feet in the shingle walking their dogs woke us up at 1am and again at 5.30am!!
Some road noise. Good cycling, in off road. Great local pubs.

Whilst travelling from Derby to the aqua Park at Rutland Water we spotted a sign for a cafe so decided to stop for something to eat. I was pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful cafe with lots of very good quality food at a reasonable price. The sun was blazing and this was a great stop.today I was rushed for time but I am looking forward to coming back when visiting the area again and taking a longer look found the farm, hopefully to see the Bison!
Always order our Christmas roast (bison topside) and some vensions steaks from Bouverie Lodge, Never been disappointed!
