This pub was very busy, but staff were courteous and polite. You have to wait to be seated, to ensure your table and chairs have been thoroughly cleaned. They do advise booking, but try and fit as many as possible in. It was quite a long wait for food (45 mins) but we were informed of this when we arrived. We were seated outside, drinks came straight away. The food arrived hot and fresh and was very nice. They do cater for wheelchairs and it's all ground level. Would go again.

We went during the Eat Out to Help Out and while the pub was busy, ordering off the app was a doddle and although the food took a while it was hot and fresh and cooked to perfection. The food only took a while because of how busy it was and obviously a lot of people were ordering the same thing. The staff were friendly and attentive and COVID19 procedures were strictly adhered to. Felt very safe.

I was pleasantly surprised. This was my first visit and on a day when potentially it could be very busy and problems can arise BUT they didnt. It was the chancellor's 50% off day and although busy it didn't feel that way. The food, I had chicken on a skillet, chips n peas , was lovely. Hot and perfectly cooked. The ladies who brought the food and drinks to the table were friendly polite . I wasnt planning on staying long but it ended up being nearly 4 hours. Also ordered a latte which was creamy and hot. Very happy with everything and couldn't fault a thing.

Love the food and such great prices. Even though its been closed we still use the take away option as that's just as great.

Super food, visited more than once recently and food is very good quality and price. Deals on most days. The place is packed with locals and not just the "great unwashed" (students). Well worth a visit. Going back soon.
