Perfectly cooked medium rare steak. As other reviewers have pointed out their steak is cooked to perfection. Not chewy and melts in your mouth. Service is great and be sure to book a table at least 24 hours in advance to avoid disappointment. Be warned though, the place is only accessible by very narrow single country lanes!

Beautiful Pub in an idyllic setting off the beaten path. What a little gem this pub is. Friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere when you walk in. It feels really homely and comfortable. They make you feel like your part of the Family and community. We had booked a table and turned up early. However they were very accommodating and seated us straight away. My husband had a Rib Eye Steak and I had a Sirloin Steak. Both were cooked to perfection. We went back the following day as we couldn't stay due to my health (not being able to sit for too long with a spinal condition. We had travelled over 3 hours for our holiday.) We popped in for lunch and got another warm welcome. Husband had freshly picked Porcine Mushrooms on toast and I was able to have Ham, Egg and Chips off the children's menu as I wasn't that hungry. Once again the food was delightful. The Mushrooms were snaffled in no time. Found out that they cooked there own Ham and they even let us buy a couple of slices of it to go back home with for sandwiches. If you get the chance then it is worth popping in. You will get a wonderfully warm reception. Will go back next year when we are in the area. Once again thank you so much for a delightful time.

Had a fantastic Sunday lunch at the Hunter’s Moon with friends who live close by. Very friendly service, great staff. Excellent local meats, pork, lamb and beef each with different gravy and condiments. Great selection of veggies, roast potatoes, cheese cauliflower, peas, baby carrots, baby sprouts with bacon bits. Will definitely come again.

I had the lamb roast it was fantastic. Loved the mint sauce, yorkies and roast potatoes especially. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun :)

Lovely relaxed atmosphere, good service and delicious food. And to top it all, we emerged to a real Hunter's Moon to light our way home. Great first night to our holiday after a long day.
