Changes have been made. It is now very glitzy. Staff were pleasant but it seemed to have lost something in the transformation.

Car park to the front. Inside surprisingly spacious. They have a selection of beers but only one cider on draft. There menu has a wide selection of food cooked and swerved to a good standard. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Well worth a visit.

As other reviewers may have stated, the rooms are dated. However it was great value, the rooms are quiet, the staff are really friendly and helpful. As soon as we said we'd be leaving before breakfast we offered a packet lunch instead. Also had s meal in the bar, good portions, nothing fancy simply a nice meal. I'd stay here again

Good, clean, friendly, comfortable. Decent helpings of tasty food and plenty of parking.
