Lively yet friendly locals pub owned by the same family for over fifteen years. Open evenings only Monday to Friday.

Quite dated inside and not a great range of drink if you like a pint of bitter. But the price was fair and it was welcoming with good service.

Very friendly. Barmaid was great and polite. Ok it was a pool night and the food we received was lovely. Great atmosphere. Thank you x

Lacon is a local brewery to this pub so expected lots of Lacon beers on offer with a name like this. But, no! Only 1 real tap and that was off (wasn't even a Lacon ale). 2 ales in bottled form but kept in the fridge!! One barmaid here (I was the only customer) and she was friendly (seemed surprised that she had a customer). Only a Monday evening so not sure what the weekend is like but it is in the middle of a heavy residential area and no locals were here. Would like to know why.
