We came here immediately after a funeral at the nearby Crematorium. The car park is well laid out with plenty of space and a short walk to the door. The windows on the building make the place stand out. There were four round tables and several picnic tables outside. We stayed inside and had a buffet, coffee and drinks from the bar. The lady working there served drinks and cleared the plates and glasses up as the afternoon progressed.

Nice meal, good quality pub grub. Had a lovely beef in Guiness pie, very tasty! Good size portion, and staff helpful and friendly. 😊

We had booked the sand boy for the wake of our late father . Even though having to compily with the current covid restrictions, the staff at the Sand boy were exelent the food was great and they really went the extra mile to made a sad day slightly better . A lovely friendly pub with tons of character

Amazing food, amazing service! So friendly and cosy. Cannot recommend this place enough! It's a shame we live so far away but if you are staying local you must visit!
