Very disappointed. Stayed for 2 weeks, lots of minor problems including door wouldn't close. Owner turned up on 3 occasions without warning, then said we had 2 dogs and 2 cats which we didn't at all. Just 2 cats. Work going on in garden on 3 occasions, so much for a peaceful break. Made complaints and said we could get £90 back if we would agree to non disclosure, no chance. If we were you definitely look elsewhere and don't bother with this very disappointing , run down place.

Fantastic place to stay, owners can't do enough for you and are only a 5 minute walk from the lodge if there are any problems. Proper home from home.

The lodge needs TLC, also needs proper shower in upstairs bathroom. Location is quiet and peaceful, forest walks close by and small kids play park too.
