We've used No.1 Barge Cottages a dozen times or more now and for us it's the perfect base for visiting our family locally and also travelling to the local seaside towns on the North Norfolk coast. No.1 is ideal for a family of 5 with its 3 bedrooms and is always immaculately presented, with owner Beryl making arrivals special with welcome sweets for the kids and fresh milk in the fridge. There's a large area of land to explore outside the front door with the river Nar and its wildlife literally on the doorstep, and taking the walk along the river to the Bone Mill is a must. Fibre broadband, pub/Chinese restaurant 100 yards away and lovely quiet surroundings, highly recommended.
