We enjoyed a lovely weekend at Albion Nights' cabin, which is made entirely from reclaimed materials and sits in a beautiful and secluded setting: a welcoming retreat that we walked through a pretty field to find. After arriving we settled in with drinks on the porch. Our hosts had provided us with coffee, tea and everything for a cooked breakfast, as well as cream, jam, scones and fresh fruit, and we felt very special and taken care of. The cabin has everything you need - a sweet little kitchen to cook on and boil a kettle, and a fridge/freezer and utensils. The facilities are great - a wonderful shower, an outdoor bath (should you feel the urge!) and a wood burner that makes the cabin extra cosy. There are also outdoor cooking facilities (over an open fire), and a table and chairs so you can have meals outside, and even a hammock to snooze in. We had a fantastic night's sleep - the bed is firm and comfortable, and there are other nice little touches, such as a radio and candles. I loved sitting out on the porch early in the morning with a coffee, listening to the birds and lambs and watching the bees bumbling about. As night fell, there were plenty of solar lamps and candles to give us a warm light, and we lit a fire and watched the stars in the pitch-black sky. There's plenty of space to walk around, and we enjoyed exploring the grounds and woods, and feeding the lambs. All in all we had a fantastic weekend break - everything I hoped it would be, and I'd highly recommend it. We're looking forward to coming back in the Autumn! - July 2020

We had a short stay of two night but it was most certainly the best couple of nights of my life. The cabin was beautifully quaint in the tranquil Norfolk countryside - just what was needed to get away from the current climate of things. Helen, the host was also exceptional in giving us all the help we needed to make it a perfect stay, and we probably weren't the best patrons but she always seemed so delightful and accomodating - thank you! If you're ever looking for a place to unwind and see the WONDERS of the night sky, this is it!

Who would have thought that there is your own piece of paradise literally on your doorstep? I didn't, but... Wow! I've been fortunate to stay across the world in some fantastic resorts and hotels, but this simple, small shack beats them all hands-down. In amidst stunning landscape, nestled perfectly by the shore of a small lake by the woods is the most gorgeous, perfect, quaint, amazing, private, soulful little property myself and my partner have endearingly nick named 'The Shack'. This is the stay dreams are made of. I cant possibly provide a review that will surmise this place, as each stay is such a personal experience and weather dependent... cooking on the fire put on a Summer evening or snuggling infront of the wood burning stove in Winter... it will give you something new on every occasion. It is a beautifully haunting property, akin to a wonderful, lazy, day dream. Magical!

We stayed at Albion Nights as our first 'off grid' adventure. The cabin is beautifully made with such great attention to detail. The bed is big and comfy and on a clear night you'd be able to see the stars through the velux window above. We enjoyed walking around the meadow, listening to the sounds of nature, and spending time in the outside area. The breakfast hamper was well equipped and delicious. The composting toilet is a genius invention as is the bathroom in general. Really quirky features in and around the cabin. We can't wait to stay again and make use of the outdoor bath tub! Great hosts, would highly recommend.

Highly Recommend. Gosh! what a glorious break! A secret, a cabin in the woods. In a beautiful meadow really. A perfect retreat for 2. A fairy walk through the forest leads you to your cosy safe home. We were beckoned from London and were very privileged to get there, very welcome. We hoped it would be good. Our hopes were far exceeded. The cabin is a hand-crafted mini masterpiece. It is fully insulated. honestly, I cant do camping. hate being cold. we didn't even use the log burner. it wasn't cold enough. There are not pollutants around, which may explain why I had the best sleep I've had since March, wrapped in a patchwork bed, it feels as remote as a Bob Ross painting. Solar panels, a compostable toilet, natural cleaning products all helping you to settle down in with nature. there are also USB ports and good signal for our providers. All manner of wildlife surrounds you; my partner saw a deer. old forests many tree varieties, an overgrown lake, like the one Ophelia's painted in, and the star filled night skies. In the mornings we played guitar and wished we had brought our paints, so beautiful! We were happy to read in the hammock and watch the sky, the butterflies Helen and Pete are very warm. easy and accommodating. the few days were quite idyllic. We also brought the bikes and went to the sea for swimming and sat observing a seal gathering must have been 80 seals there. drove back in a few hours. not joking it was better than going abroad.
