Nice place to stay plenty to do in the area fisher on River on site plenty of different types of bird's staff really helpful and nice
We loved it - came back for a week. Love the trees and the way that the pitches fit around them, no ranks. Love the riverside walk. Love seeing the landlady carefully raking and reseeding and watering each long-camped pitch. Some people must love it even more than we do. Oh, and Norwich is on the doorstep, ample to do for several weeks.
Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed the site, the people. Easy walk into Norwich - a really great city with a fine market. Good dog walk on site and river walk a short distance away - Boudicca trail.
A great little site ideal for trips to Norwich to visit people (like us) or for shopping.
it appears to be well outside Norwich but it is a short ride from anywhere really.
Geoff was very helpful, and the change over wardens too.
We had the wettest week ever last week but how lovely it would have been if the sun had shown its face even if it had been just to dry things out a bit.
Supermarkets and food shopping close by.
We will 100% be going back.
Excellent site, with well maintained and pleasant facilities, and some awesome mature trees providing some dappled shade in the open grassy pitches. The brilliant friendly wardens went out of their way to help and the cherry on the cake was the fascinating history of the site. Well definitely be back soon.
