I stayed first at Ryehill Country Cottages 18 years ago during a house relocation from Cheshire and everything worked out very well. Again this year I needed temporary accommodation whilst moving house and I was delighted to learn that Mike and Maggie were still running their business. It has been a very stressful year for me, but Maggie has been so helpful and understanding whilst my house purchase took time to complete. The accommodation is very comfortable and I was able to self cater and freeze homemade meals very easily. The water pressure in the shower is also very impressive! I was delighted to find that as a cricket lover, I could connect my Sky box and watch domestic games. I discovered that Mike is also a great cricket lover and we had some good conversations, although he does support the wrong county in my opinion! The cottages are well maintained and set in such peaceful and beautiful country surroundings. I left Ryehill feeling much better than when I arrived. Thank you so much Mike and Maggie!

We had a great stay at Ryehill Country Cottages. The accommodation was cosy and rustic but with a modern feel. The owners, Maggie and Mike were very friendly and helpful. We had some lovely walks including my favourite: a ten minute stroll to the village pub where the beer and food were great.

We were the 5th time on holiday at Ryehill Country Cottages. It is a very peaceful and welcoming place, for us meanwhile like a second home. The village East Haddon and the surrounding area are beautiful, we love this typical english countryside with hills, meadows and lots of sheep. Many great day trips are possible from this place, for us an important point. The cottages are very comfortable, the interieur has rustic charm and they are decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and very helpful with any kind of questions we had.

Stayed here for a few months after returning to the UK from South Africa. Utility bills just given as a written amount, no meter readings given. Single track access road was covered in mud on a daily basis. The sheep/cattle grid you have to go over was cracked and split, so watch your tyres. Some of The cottages are converted cow sheds, so have no foundations and we had damp on our living room wall. Spent 3 hours clearing the access to the cottages car park. No help from the proprieter who was in Australia on holiday, or his family who also live there. Probably nice in the summer time.
