met here with friends for an overnight stay. food was nice, all social distancing measures in place. breakfast was just a good but made more enjoyable by Mandy the waitress. polite. good service and very bubbly for that time in the morning. made it a great start to a brilliant day.

The food itself was lovely and well priced for what we got, however we had barely sat down before the waitress straight away told us what was not available on the menu. Would have been better to let us at least get our coats off and settled before being told about menu availability. Another let down was that we did say we are going for a Christmas meal and its the first place we had seen that do not set the table nicely with at least christmas crackers. The waitress told us about a draught beer issue which was obviously out of your control but the fact that we were unable to order drinks before ordering food felt like you didn't trust us that we would then order our substantial meal. would be better if you explained the minimum item we could order in order to be able to order alcoholic drinks and then let us make the informed choice whether we would meet that minimum and be able to order the drink whilst we browsed menus.

Doing "table service" now but you're more likely to die of thirst than covid. Waited nearly ten minutes without seeing a member of staff, who then ignored me when I called loudly three times until I got up and walked over. He then left all the empty glasses on our table when bringing the new drinks over, as did the next member of staff who walked by wearing his mask uselessly below his nose. Only good thing I can say is that it was easy to get a table on a Saturday night, but now I know why.

Staff was very organized with all the safety precautions in place. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere even with social distancing and table service. Meal was lovely and cooked to perfection and well presented. Will be going again for definite. Thankyou from me and my family.

Did not enjoy the meal. I would not have complained because that what British people do. We just say its lovely pay and leave. I was asked did I enjoy the meal and had to give an honest answer which was no. I won't be back no use moaning because it's over. I should have returned the meal but we did just ate what we could because we were hungry.
