Lovely site with good sized gravel standings with grass in between. Very well maintained too. Excellent views across the country side. Very good WIFI even inside the van perfect for rainy days. Plenty of fresh water taps around the site and chemical toilet emptying point. Will visit again.
Lovely site. Great location stunning veiws, great pub within walking distance and good fishing close by. This will be our go to place for that quick weekend getaway.
A perfect one-night stopover.
Apart from one caravan tucked away in a corner we had the site to ourselves, and had an uninterrupted view across the stunning Rockingham Valley.
The site is beautifully maintained and although there was no one on site we had received full instructions in advance, complete with the gate and wifi codes.
It's just a short walk to the Royal George in the village of Cottingham, purportedly the oldest inn in the country, passing the goat farm next door where they make lovely goats' milk ice cream - and soap.
There were red kites soaring over the valley and the starriest clear sky I've seen outside of our native Northumberland.

Loved our time here. Well kept site in a stunning location within short walk of the village which has a great community shop/cafe and good pubs. Understand they will soon have toilet and shower facilities which will make it even better
