Nice evening meal, pre-lockdown so slightly reduced menu.
Brilliant food with friendly service. Covid 19 precautions were exceptional
After a long walk on a very wet day and covered in mud the welcome we received from the landlady and a wood fire were exactly what we needed. The beer was excellent and even though it was Sunday lunchtime she was willing to rustle up a good variety of very filling and hot bar food for lunch. Everything you want in a pub.
Great food and great service.
As this pub has recently been taken over by new owners it's been recommended to me a couple of times. Greeted by friendly staff member covering bar on a quiet Friday lunchtime. Opted for pub classic which was served promptly and was a good size portion. Well worth a visit, hope folk support this local pub.
