Booked for an early morning breakfast today with my wife before shopping. We were both really impressed with the social distancing and procedures they have in pace to keep their customers safe. 1. Promptly shown to our table which was clean, fresh and cleared as it should be 2. Menu brought to the table by our waitress 3. Drinks served to us within 5 minutes 4. Breakfast served 10 minutes later which was perfect, hot, tasty and well presented 5. Contactless payment 6. Happy and professional staff I would happily recommended The Priory to my family, friends and work colleagues. Well done! Steve & Barbara.

We were seated and received table service, but once our starter arrived, we were never checked on again. In fact, we had to ask for our mains and desserts and our plates weren't cleared until the next course arrived. It was a shame, because we were really looking forward to it, and the menu looked divine. Albeit the food did not live up to expectations. Menus were also on hardback and therefore continuously used. We found ours quite sticky too. Not ideal given the current pandemic.....

The priory is a nice place to visit. Food is generally good. Shame on covid spoiling the meal. Just did not feel comfortable there. Places like this need people in them too feel good.
