Riverside Campsite Malham

Great place, I mean top draw. Fantastic place for views, service and friendly feeling. The views are beyond words - good. The facilities better than expected and a good class of campers, no loud idiots. I shall return.

My partner and I had lovely time camping here. We parked our tent, the stream side of the field . .the views lovely, the water fast and calming with occasional visits from the very thirsty cows all on the other side of the fence. At night the sound of the stream intermingled with owls hooting and bat's flying around, reinforced the reason why camping is such a great thing to do and love... No noisy traffic either. A bonus!! 👍🏻👍🏻😀 The owners disallowed for too many campers at one time this gave space and a chance to have peace on our holiday. No children were permitted on the site at this time... A decision made by the owners due to the current covid situation and social distancing(one of the owners had been shielding so you can understand their reasoning) Two persons only each tent. The facilities were spotless and were thoroughly cleaned throughout the day. The showers were out of action at this time due to covid, however shiny clean sinks and toilets allowed you to wash and do your thing safely. Outside pot washing facilities, two sinks undercover , spaced apart, allowed them to be used without waiting for others. A peg, line and canopy allowed clothes to be hung out to dry. The lady owner was lovely and very welcoming. Her husband a very busy farmer so allow for tractor noise in the morning .. .but not too early. Stunning views around and natural attractions. . Not far from Malham cove and 5 min walk into the village to pubs and eateries. Recommended for people who appreciate the quiet and civilised act of camping... Not for loud party people!!! We will be staying again.

Lovely spot to camp at, friendly owners and clean toilets. Shower block was out of use due to Covid at the time of our visit so I can't attest to the condition of those, however I would imagine they were clean and well maintained just like the rest of the facilities.

Beautiful place and lovely woman/owner. Kind and helpful. View of malham cove from site. Recommend very much.

When calling for availability I got asked if it was for a couple or 2 men staying after stating 2 young men there were no spots available, no diffrent from a couple as its still one tent 👍🏻 discrimination at its finest
