I was absolutely delighted with The Boathouse. The interior is beautifully designed. It was warm and comfortable and I loved the decor as well as the views across the marshes outside. The food was delicious and the perfect temperature. The staff were attentive and very pleasant. They provided us with everything we needed and even let us bring the dogs in which was brilliant. I would love to visit here again and will do so in the future. I cannot reccomend it enough!

Booked a table for 6.30 Sunday last week..when we arrived told they had run out of chicken and turkey so we ordered beef and ham roast dinners..then told they had rrun out of all roast dinners! Ordered 2 lamb shanks..then they came and told us they only had 1 left ! When that was served it came with no potatoes or sweet red cabbage as listed on menu and plate had obviously been filled up with loads of left over green cabbage from the roast dinners! Starters, desserts and wine excellent however so hope it improves

The food was good & staff were really nice but the covid safety measures were poor. Staff wore no masks or visors & were leaning across the table when delivering food & clearing dishes. Have visited other restaurants which made me feel much more comfortable than here

Dropped in as we were passing. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Even with Covid adaptation the place is still charming and as always the food is amazing. We can't recommend the Boathouse highly enough.

First rate. Not been here for a while but the food was spot on. Had fish and chips. The batter was light and crispy, and the fish was perfectly cooked, fresh and creamy. The staff were very friendly. The foid came very quickly. Price good too
