Very good place to stay in prominent location on Parkgate parade overlooking the Dee marshes and North Wales. Prices are quite reasonable especially for small single rooms. Bed and excellent cooked breakfast. Good service and friendly staff. Food menu a bit esoteric and expensive but food is good. Not so good for beers that I like.

Love the place! Rooms were very clean and tidy! Great atmosphere in the bar and excellent food in the dining areas! The staff are friendly and attentive! Overall, a great two-day break, in surroundings I would recommend!

Excellent food. Lovely view over the Dee estuary salt marshes to the Clwyd Mountains. Good rooms that are reasonably priced(not many with a view though). Decent selection of Brains beers on draught. Great spot to base yourself for walking or cycling on the Wirral Way.

Lovely pub in a great location overlooking the estuary. Great food and very clean, comfortable accommodation. Large customer car park at the rear with security barrier.

Fabulous room really cosy and clean. Lovely view across the estuary. The food was excellent - wish we'd had more than one night here
