My wife and I had Dinner Thursday 27th August. My starter was halloumi fries with a nice dipping source and a salad. We both ordered the rib eye steaks medium. The chef - James came out to ask us exactly how we would want our steaks cooked and we said pink with no blood. The steaks were cooked to perfection and washed down with a bottle of red wine. The service was great and we enjoyed the meal. Will be going back soon.
Thought id leave a review of this place, very well served evening by a fine young man. Think his name was george. The mrs gave a tip of £10 he was so well mannered... pay rise needed!
Clearly the best pub in Heswall especially the quality of the beer & food.The Landlord Wayne and his wife are absolutely prefect very friendly & professional the place is immaculate inside and out and I am extremely happy this hidden gem has reopened its doors all the best of luck-Highly recommend this venue!!

Very friendly, easy going pub. Tasty, homemade food, worth a try!
Lovely pub and the staff are top notch - so welcoming and friendly and quickly remembered our family’s drink orders. Lindsey was especially good to us when we had difficulty getting a taxi home. Would recommend this place to anyone.
