Lovely place! The friendliest staff I ever came across! Couldn’t do enough for you! Good facilities, beautiful location, good lodges and of course the private hot tub is amazing! Great place to stay with or without kids. The only downside that there isn’t much lightning on a night, so can’t go to for walk or kids playground in the evening especially in winter months when it gets dark early, so not much to do on site. However there is nice cafe with soft play, so kids are occupied while you have a drink or eat, lovely clean and big swimming pool and very nice restaurant on site serving delicious food! Would and will definitely return, however, will probably prefer to go in summer months.

I booked a lodge for 4 nights for my family,the first day we couldn't book in till 6 so couldn't really do anything when we got there, we ordered food from the restaurant, unfortunately it was bit of a let down, it was overly priced for what we got. There was no lighting around the park which made it difficult to go when out and about. We also had some extra guests😂 which were not invited and they were the eight legged kind, lots of them.cant be helped with the surroundings. We also had a damaged sofa both seating pads were badly ripped so it was uncomfortable seating,we were told it was getting replaced but never did.The toaster had a broken handle,the main shower was an issue for me as I couldn't get the temperature down if I had put my kids in there,they would of been scolded. All in all the holiday was great the kids loved feeding the ducks every morning and the private hot tub was lovely, but we got for accommodation don't think it reflected in the price.

Our holiday lodge Alder executive 2018 was lovely and clean . All the kitchen appliances were spotless and the rooms were the same. Easy check in at reception . The hot tubs could have been made more private. We had read previous reviews and took a balcony privacy screen and some 12v led lights which were easy to hook onto the fencing making it private and cosy. We had a great time and would recommend Woodland Lakes Lodges.

Great location especially if you like fishing. Only complaint was no lighting around site so walking at night around the site was hazardous plus no decent play area for kids. Staff were excellent and food was nice enough. Definitely would stay again.

Lovely place, stayed over Christmas 2020, lodges have all amenities and are of a very high standard and available in a range of sizes and all have hot tubs.
