Booked a table in the bar area because we had a dog. The staff couldn't be more pleasant. The two guys we had serving us were perfect; a proper mix of attentiveness without being too intrusive. Food was delicious and the portions were good. We'll be coming back for more soon!

Lovely place. Lovely staff. Lovely beer gardens to front and back. Absolutely fab place. Staff lovely and friendly. Dogs welcome. Food great. Covid aware and provide sanitiser. Special acknowledgements to James and George and of course the rest of the staff who are all brill.

Very hospitable with good atmosphere, large (local) alcohol selection, and good quality food. We ordered the chicken pie, mushy peas, and chips which was a very delicious meal. The staff are very courteous and professional. One way routing for Covid and outdoor seating available and encouraged. Parking can be challenging, but there is a free car park 200 meters down the road.

Incredible hospitality and service while drinking here. Effective covid-19 secure set up too. What really impressed me, however, was a phone call from them informing me I'd left a bag under my table. They helped arrange postage for the item to be returned too. Outstanding service - 10 stars if I could give it.
