Food was ok not fantastic 3 attempts to get the correct bill
Highly recommended. We were warmly greeted on arrival and shown to our table in the back dining area. Our drinks order arrived swiftly, as did our food. There was a good range on offer and everything we had was delicious. The staff were attentive and it was clear that they were taking Covid-19 restrictions seriously, without it affecting the experience. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Great food, superb beer, lovely atmosphere and excellent service. Felt safe and secure in the current Covid pandemic, all relevant safeguards in place. Highly recommended. Wish we had similar quality experiences in the area we live.
Really wonderful food. Tempted not to review to try and keep the place to ourselves, but realise that would be selfish. I had sticky beef for a starter and beef and ale pie for main followed by homemade ice-cream. My wife had salmon terrine and fish pie. All were top notch. Congrats to the nice, friendly staff and excellent chef. A little bird tells me Sunday lunch is tip top too.
Food was of an exceptional quality for a very reasonable price. Service times were quick and staff were attentive.
The ale was well kept and tasted very nice.
Highly recommended and will certainly return.
