Was staying at local caravan park and used the black bull for drinks and evening meals. Excellent all round. Chef with the tattoo by her ear spot on. Food great. Beer and hospitality by son and father spot on. Every success with this new venture Will definitely call more regular

As a group of Coast to Coasters who had been turned away from the nearby campsite and on a low budget it was a stroke of luck to find this excellent pub - run by a family who created a lovely and accommodating atmosphere and who we felt genuinely wanted to help, we enjoyed a night in a comfortable bed along with a delicious full english for a bargain price. The evening meal was also fantastic and we were not disappointed by any aspect of our stay. The hotel is very close to local shops and offers WiFi as well as a warm fire in the evening; a great place to stay for travellers with a warm and welcoming atmosphere

Nice little place currently undergoing renovation.....staff very friendly and accommodating, breakfast and evening meal was delicious ..... thanks for a nice stay over and for keeping the log fires burning 🔥 ann marie and mick 🏍👫🍻
