Very impressed with the lunch we had on a wet Wednesday. Received a very warm welcome on arrival. Staff were very efficient and in control of a busy restaurant despite the extra pressures due to Covid. Covid regulations were displayed clearly and well controlled, giving us the reassurance that we were in a clean and safe environment. Food was exceptional. Service excellent. Benefiting by the £10 off each meal was a definite bonus but wouldn’t hesitate to pay full price for the food and service we experienced. A definite return visit is on the cards very soon. Well done to all at the Bolton Arms 👍

BRILLIANT place, friendly staff great food and beer. We sat outside but in the shelter of the marquee away from the wind and rain, this was ideal for us as we're quite concerned about going inside any bars at the moment other than a quick visit to the "facilities" However inside did look very inviting, great one way system and socially distanced too. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Although the room could've done with an update the bed and pillows were super comfy. There is a TV and hairdryer. Bathroom was on the small side but everywhere was very clean. Plenty of tea, sugar and coffee along with a seating area outside our room on the balcony to enjoy the views. What really made our stay was the friendly staff and the fabulous breakfast. You chose from at least 8 different options for a cooked breakfast then there is cereal, fruit juice, tea or coffee along with toast too! You put your choice in the night before along with the time you would like it. We didn't have an evening meal as we were visiting family but I'm sure if the food is anything like breakfast it would've been really good. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely traditional little pub and eatery in in Redmire at the top of Wensleydale. Always a good choice of meals and the food is excellent. Recently we were on our way down to our cottage in askrigg and we stopped by for our first pint after lockdown eased and pubs opened. Damn it tasted GOOD!

Just enjoyed a lovely bacon bap and coffee. Staff friendly. Lovely pub. Perfect stop over mid cycle or walking in the dales.
