We went in the cafe part and it was excellent!! Great tasting food, swift service very reasonably priced!
Our stay at Ivy Cottage was a gift for our birthday/anniversary celebrations. What a superb place to stay in the wonderful Yorkshire location of Reeth. Beautiful, clean and cosy, bright room with a good view of the dales. All recently decorated with furnishings which fit well with the style of the B&B, which was consistently lovely throughout communal areas.
For our liking the bedding was too thick and so hot. After returning late in the evening I found myself unable to turn on the radiators - potentially controlled elsewhere - they did come on in the morning. This made for a contrasting temperature at night between bedding and room, but I have no doubt that raised these issues then the hosts would be happy enough to rectify them, service was wonderful throughout.
Special praise for en-suite shower/bath and for delicious breakfast, made with very fresh ingredients and the pre-order forms easy to fill the day before with lots of different choices for different dietary requirements.
Lovely comfortable B&B perfectly placed for exploring Reeth and Swalecliffe.
