We stayed in Lodge 12, overlooking the paddock with a hot tub. We are a family of 4 with two children we all really enjoyed our 4 night stay and used the hot tub a lot. Barker Stakes Farm is quiet and peaceful, there are 2 children's play areas to use, animals to look at and the whole place feels safe. On the morning of our 1st full day I emailed the owner regarding a couple of issues and by the time we were back from a day at the beach everything was sorted, he was a star!! This is the second time we have stayed at Barker Stakes Farm this year, we previously stayed at the end of July for 3 nights in a different lodge, without a hot tub, we really enjoyed that stay too but lodge 12 was the best obviously because of the hot tub and it is more modern inside with bigger bedrooms. We would definitely recommend a stay here & we will return ourselves.

Absolutely loved our weekend break at Barker Stakes Lodges. We booked last minute and the owners were brilliant organising an earlier check in time as it was my birthday. We stayed in lodge 13 which is a child and dog friendly lodge with an outdoor hot tub. The whole place was immaculate and my little boy loved the freedom of all the space on offer aswell as the looking at all the animals. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here and would look to return in the not too distant future! Thank you for a lovely relaxing break. Rebekah

We had a lovely walking weekend staying in the lodges. Great hosts and perfect location to access a range of activities. We would definitely stay again!

Both Avril and myself stay here regularly, the last 4 years with our dog unfortunately he passed away early this year, but we still came back once again both Sarah and Steve made our stay both comfortable and welcoming.
