Welcome was fab, food in the bar was great and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning really was first class. Rooms could do with updating but for the price its perfect. Thanks Saddle Inn for a lovely change of scenery in the weird times!

First class rock bar. 4 pound a pint. ACE. Brilliant staff very well run. I always head for here when in the City. Best rock bar in Chester.

Quirky place within easy walking distance to Chester town centre. The rooms are all band themed, clean, and very quiet. The friendly owners made us feel very welcome. Definitely one to visit again in the future.

As much as I love Chester, a lot of it's bars has a very generic way of being over priced and plays the same music and giving you the same atmosphere. The Saddle is simply a Rock Bar which isn't overly priced and isn't pretentious. The food isn't half bad and it's definitely worth siting in on their open mic nights. I have also found that the team working their have great costumer service skills! Keep up the great work!

Loved our stay here! We were going to bring our dogs as it’s a pet friendly hotel, but leaving them with their Nanna enabled us to do much more sight seeing round the beautiful Chester! The Saddle Inn is in a perfect spot where everything is around you, from shopping, museums, restaurants, The Chester wall... everything is right there. It’s quite an old building, but so homely! We had the family room and it was fab, we loved it. Lots of space, and all the rooms are rock themed! The staff are extremely welcoming, and the breakfast was outstanding!! 10/10 Rebecca was very helpful with places to eat, and where to start our Wall walk, nothing would have been too much trouble. Recently decorated to Halloween theme, lots of effort made to make it look spectacular. This is somewhere that we will be visiting again, and even more so to see their beautiful little dog Shelby, who we fell in love with!!! 😂 Can’t wait to go back!! Brilliant. 🥰
