Had a lovely 3 night stay here in Mary's cottage. It was clean and had everything we needed. The hosts were lovely and made sure our stay went well.

Stoped in one of the cottages. very cosy and quiet. The dogs loved the private garden and the location is great to get to selby.

Very good campsite with super friendly owners. Stayed here with our Baby and would definitely come back. Facilities are clean, rubbish is being properly recycled (important being a nature’s friend :-)) and we were welcome very warm hearted and polite even though we arrived quiet late. The surroundings are beautiful and the prices more than fair.

Stayed 4 nights, lovely peaceful site, all facilities are clean. Owners very friendly and helpful. Plenty of space for our caravan and car, electric was a card we purchased for £5 and lasted us all our stay and I was there all the time. Fire pits available to hire. Close to Selby and York. Would definitely recommend and will be back very soon.

We stayed in one of the cottages there. It was spacious, clean and quiet. They left us a packet of shortbread and a small amount of milk which was nice. Not so much a welcome pack as ability to make a cuppa and have a biscuit with it. There was an issue for us with the bathroom. The light comes on automatically and stays on for around 10 minutes along with the fan which doesn't sound bad however this means in the night you can't go quietly to the loo. Everytime one of us went it meant the light waking the other in bed and then this continuing for the next 10 minutes so both being awake. Not sure why they have set it up like that as it doesn't make sense. We would not have used the light at all at night so less electric used and it stayed on far longer than we used the bathroom even for a shower. The door handle was also like a stable one so loud as well. Not really what you want when trying to sleep. Other than this the cottage is well laid out and comfortable. The lady could have been more friendly and didn't seem to want to show us round when we arrived but the duck and chickens were friendly and we didn't see the owners other than that.
