Went for my daughter's 18th birthday. The food was excellent as was the service. There was 11 of us and no one could fault the food. Everything was delicious especially the gravy and stuffing. The staff were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend this place and will be going again.

Opened at the end of July 2020 with new owners after refurbishments. Excellent local restaurant and bar. Very good sized portions and very reasonable prices. Will certainly be visiting a lot more often.

Had a lovely meal we had tonight. (i had the steak and ale pie, my husband had the fish basket). The atmosphere was very pleasant, the staff were friendly and very attentive, and we felt very safe in light of covid. The real ale was good and they had a good selection of gins. Will definately be back.
