Had sunday lunch during lockdown and it wasn't very good. Beef was chewy, mash 'potato' was smash (takes no time at all to make proper mash) and the yorkshire pudding was a pancake and burnt. Only redeemable bit was the roast potatos which where amazing! Will have to visit again after lockdown.

This is a local pub to us, and has changed hands a few times over the years. The staff are welcoming and friendly, they have a decent sized car park, outdoor areas, one at the front with tables and seats, and one at the side, all fenced in with a couple of climbing frames for the kids. It is a nice place, great for a catch up with friends etc. They need to redo the outdoor area to the side, the whole of the grassed area is uneven and not easy to walk on, it could be a great area rather than a barely ok one. Inside is a little dark, so new lighting would help and possibly some redecorating here and there. Great place, great staff, just needs a little work and it would definitely be a 5 star place.
