Definitely wouldn't come again. The only star it deserves is due to the prices being cheap (most of the time). Carvery on a bank holiday and weekends is £7.79 instead of £4.49 on weekdays. The food has been stood and was very dry. The latte we ordered was barely warm, even though it was only just made. Dirty plates are left on tables with nobody clearing up, even though members of staff are not doing anything. The surfaces and carpet next to our table are dirty. Lack of napkins on tables. If you want a carvery, do yourself a big favour and go to Toby.

This place does a lovely Sunday roast. At good prices. Kid friendly. Gets super busy though so you need to time it right. Sometimes hard to get a table and when you do you have to clean it yourself. Also the toilet are not good.

Great atmosphere but a bit pricey. Have had as good steak for cheaper.

Came here after going to the burnt stump and getting appalling service there. ALL staff seemed to be good at there jobs, Polite there was no waiting for food. Just go up and slap it on your plate. YOU WILL NOT GO AWAY HUNGRY HERE!!! All food was cooked as it should be. Beer tasted good. And all at a good price. A real joy to go to this pub and will be going here more. A big thanks to all at inn :D

Where do I start? Well, the one star i have given is one star too many. My elderly friend requested a sherry... Sorry. OK, How about a Merlot? Nope. Sigh! House white it is then. Carvery? We had wait for way too long for someone to come and cut the joint... and wait we did... and wait some more but eventually someone came with a well rehearsed 'sorry' The beef turned out to be the toughest old boot ever to grace a plate, the gammon was wet. The peas were like ball bearings, the brussel sprouts and carrots over cooked, as were the tasteless cubed swede. (I assume that's what it was) The Yorkshire pudding was pathetic in size and consistency and the gravy was cold. Thank God the roast potatoes were edible or there would be nothing to redeem this blighted so-called meal.
