Went for an early evening dinner to celebrate my birthday. First visit here and found the decor and atmosphere casual, tastefull and spotless. The service and food was excellent and I'm sure that we will return again soon. We both thought the warm cookie dough dessert was the highlight of the evening and worthy of 5 stars on its own. Highly recommended and good value.

We have just spent a few days at the dapper spaniel with the dog. Very friendly staff good beer lovely food Very cosy atmosphere. Nothing too much trouble when asked. We will be staying with them again. Cheers 🍻.

What a great place. We were only in the area a couple of days and went to the dapper spaniel both evenings. The food is amazing and is some of the best I have ever tasted.

The food was awful. Unfortunately I had the chicken burger. Despite asking for no mayonnaise it came smothered in the stuff so u had to send it back. 2 minutes later the same meal appeared... the kitchen had tried to scrape the mayo off and replaced the bun. They didn't even bother to toast the bun like it should have been. There was still mayo on the now cold tough chicken. The chef didn't even bother to apologise. Never again.

First time eating here and the first of many. Food is amazing , excellent service and friendly staff. Highly recommend the Sunday lunch.
