Gas Tech Wales

Had a new boiler fitted by Gas Tech Wales and could not fault their service. They arrived on time after giving a courtesy call in the morning to tell us when they were arriving. They explained all the information of what they needed to carry out on the day to install the new boiler. Once the new boiler was installed they explained how to use the boiler and then cleaned up after the installation. Excellent customer service.

Do not rely on this company..... They will fabricate & try to rip you off. Back in March we had, Gas Tech Wales call and approve, the “Grant Funding Boiler scheme” The man from Gas Tech Wales arrived, surveyed our home. After taking photos and checking the boiler & radiators he than went on to quoted me, a whopping “£720” cost towards a new boiler, as it will have to be a “larger Boiler to take the work”. (I have the agreement to show) I had to call Gas Tech Wales back a few weeks later and was told it was all approved by EDF energy and work will begin as soon as a date is available for one of their engineers. No one ever called back. After a couple of calls to Gas Tech Wales, random people would just pick up the phone and tell me they they were still arranging a date or it has yet to be signed off by EDF. It is now October and still no new boil from Gas Tech Wales. When I called them in early October, they still are making excuses. Please to say we called our energy provider “Octopus Energy” Who arrange for an engineer to call within two weeks. I am now the proud owner of a new boiler at the cost of only “£250’ (not the £720.00, Gas Tech Wales quoted me) My new boiler is now fully installed, all under three weeks of my call to Octopus Energy. I would be interested to know as to why I was quoted such a large price for a boiler by Gas Tech Wales and as to why you never called back?

Had a new Worcester Greenstar fitted a few weeks ago, great service, very professional, tidy and speedy installation!
