Went for lunch today with my daughter and baby grandson without booking. We arrived about 1 pm and they found us a great spot inside where Eric could be in his pram without being disturbed. I had the half chicken with mash, veg and gravy, and my daughter had the buttermilk chicken burger followed by the baked lotus cheesecake. Everything was presented well and tasted great, couldn't fault it. The place in general was laid out superb to make you feel safe, well done team. 👏👏👏
We stayed here Saturday with our teenage children, rooms we're very clean and spacious. The food and drinks we had on the evening we're delicious. We really enjoyed our break and will return again. Thank you 😊
The major taking was my wife's chicken wasn't cooked through.
The sweet corn was starchy, not sweet, as though it was a long way well past its best. The lamb burger was average at best, tasted like a very cheap frozen burger.
Food was good . Fresh vegetables, service good under new lockdown rules.
The service was quick and the waiters/waitresses were very polite. Highly recommended!
