Really enjoyed brunch at the Portello Lounge and would recommend! The hostess went out of her way to accommodate us as we needed space for a pushchair and all other staff we encountered were great too. Ordering via the app was easy and convenient, and despite a supposed wait on food service our meals arrived quickly. Nice relaxed vibe and COVID regulations enforced well. Will definitely visit again!

Nice setting with good taste in decorations. That's as far as taste goes. I had a Burrito and fries, my son had poached egg, bacon and fries. Too much vinegar in the egg water, a miniscule piece of bacon and a small amount of fries. I gave my son my fries. The burrito was pre-made and barely heated. It had crunchy bits in it which I suppose was burnt beans from the Burrito reheat. This for £21 The barman needs to be sent on a smiling course, he made Jack Dee seem like Mr. Chuckles. The other staff were indifferent to customer expectations. I've had better service in fish n' chip shops. Not once was I asked if I was enjoying the food. I suppose this place is targeting the easily pleased youth and not people who know their way around a condiment or two.

Tastey brooklyn brunch. Was nice with a coffee and a large freshly squeezed orange juice. We could order on our phones now which was easy, check the pic which has the qr code. We come here sometimes and it's always a decent stop.

Myself and my family visited portello lounge today for a change from our usual spot. However we were left very disappointed, although we understand mistakes happen, food hygiene is very important to me. My son ordered a lounge breakfast from the menu and when it was bought out to him, there was a long dark hair in the food. I was also quite astonished to see staff with their hair down, I would assume working in this environment, all staff should have their hair tied back. Quite astonished that they then weren’t advised to tie their hair up after other members were made aware of this incident.

The staff are very good.. nothings to much trouble.. Ellie was as ever fantastic running round for.us.. the food is always good quality .. my favourite place..
