Absolutely the best bar in West Bridgford. If you're looking to sit in an empty bar, with a date you don't want to talk to and drink absolutely nothing, this is the place to end your evening. The music is far too loud, so it's impossible to have a conversation, and the bar was very poorly stocked. That is, of course, if you manage get served at the bar... After having waited for 15 minutes to get served (despite the bar being almost empty), it turned out that it the bar staff were being entirely selective in who they served and in which order (seems you had to be selling drugs or friends with the bar staff, who were openly talking about how much they were drinking whilst working behind the bar). You can sometimes forgive bar staff for not knowing which order people were there when it's a busy bar, but there were about 8 people in the entire place and people were clearly getting to the bar after us and then getting served slowly, leaving us to wait while they talked to their friends. One of the bar staff clearly demonstrated how completely off-his-face he was when he assaulted my other half, who had complained about the poor service. I was actually relieved when he threw a drink over my other half and told him to "get out of my bar before I f*****g kill you", launching himself at my boyfriend and throwing himself at our friends extremely aggressively, because at least it meant I could get out of that absolute hell hole. It can only be described as having a leisure centre vibe, except it's clearly somewhere safe for people to take/sell illicit drugs and walk about like zombies in dark corners doing God knows what, with music blaring through it. I urge you not to go to this bar. It has no place in the otherwise civilised West Bridgford and the way we were treated here only makes me feel like I can feel glad the place was so empty on a Saturday night that it will probably be forced into closure. It ruined a birthday evening out and the only reason I did not wait around to call the Police and report that barman for assault is because we were so distraught and shaken up we had to end the evening and go home.
