Great local pub for us! Food is always amazing sourced locally, of course. Bar is well stocked with plenty of choice.
Came across this place during a lockdown-wander and so glad we did! Grabbed some toasties and cheddar soup, both of which were absolutely delicious. They were also selling some locally made chocolates which were incredible. Will definitely revisit when the doors reopen after lockdown.
Its ok, didn't meet my expectations as a Michelin star restaurant. The service is really good, we went for hubbys bday and when we arrived a card was waiting for him at our table which was a nice touch.
The food really let the experience down. There is a set menu in place with very limited choice( 2 starters, 4 mains and 2 puds). I had a blue cheese starter which wasn't particularly enjoyable, my mains pork belly was nice but quite a small portion with big sides and the chocolate pud was delicious.
