We found this place on a random google map search of the area we were driving through on our way home. The food was EXCELLENT. We were starving and shared three starters (for £10). The sticky chicken started was delicious. I decided to go for the veggie Sunday lunch option, Mediterranean tart. It was fantastic and my husband said his chicken was great. The sides were generous and the service was very friendly. They have rooms so we will be back to stay for the night and have a ramble around the public footpaths that surround the village. The beer garden is also very lovely. We’re in the car driving home now and have already Been talking about had tasty that was. Thank you!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today, and on many other occasions with friends. The George inn offers a wholesome and regularly refreshed menu, offering gluten free and various other options to suit any requirements. The staff are very welcoming and the Pub/Restaurant as a whole, looks fantastic. Highly recommend

I had a works meeting here over the course of 2 days.. We didn't want to leave!! Absolutely stunning building, fantastic food and rooms where every details has been thought through! The staff were prompt and cutious and myself and my colleagues left feeling refreshed and looking forward to when we can return. DO NOT CHANGE A THING THAT YOU ARE DOING!!!

Great service, very kind, helpful and accommodating staff, clean rooms and very well placed location-wise to visit other villages etc. in the Cotswolds. The pub downstairs is nice and quaint, with a great food selection. Highly recommend. Only thing to note is that the room I stayed in had an open plan bathroom. Not an issue for me (travelling alone) but worth checking the particular room layout before you book.

Stayed overnight in one of the outside room conversions which was cosy and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and offered great service. Great dinner menu and excellent breakfast. Love the decor throughout. Can't fault this place. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
