We arrived on a Friday and as I walk with crutches they found us a nice place for us to set up camp. The staff and owners were very helpful and friendly. The place was lovely and rustic looking, surrounded by contented pigs with low grunts that were quiet relaxing and chickens wondering about. The food was very good and the bar was reasonably priced. It was lovely to be able to sit by the canal on old sofas (sacks avaliable to keep your bums dry) and have a fire in the firepits they looked good in the dark. we will definitely be going back hopefully in October

Lovely quirky place. Open air bar in horsebox. Outdoor sofas round campfires. Canal side walks. You can watch the piglets and buy their relatives as meat from the shop or taste then in the cafe. Really friendly staff who all seem happy to be there with you. Basic festival toilets, no showers.

This place is lovely the staff are really friendly, the other campers, boaters are really nice to speak to. If you like farm animals especially the pigs, chickens etc this is the perfect place for you. They have a farm shop, if you don't fancy cooking they have their own food van, also they have a bar so no need to leave the site this is also a pet friendly site. Just be aware you may have visitors that look like chickens above all best site I've seen so far

Pitches are in a lovely lush grass field that can only be described as sloping and undulating. Lots of ducks and chickens as well as the pigs of all sizes are alongside the pitches but there were no farmyard smells. The food van is fantastic but required several visits just to make sure, also having the Trotters Bar came in very handy! The shop saw us on our way stocked with pork and eggs from the farm. Everyone is very friendly including the lurchers and whippets that had free run of the site and popped down to say hello from time to time. Only downside is the portaloos but as we had our own loo with us it wasn't an issue. The site is everything they said it would be with a lovely atmosphere and quirky nature... we'll be back!
