Nice Lodge to stop in
Myself and 5 friends stayed in Oakridge Lodge in the woodland at Redbrick House. The cabin was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing break, including a hot tub, private decking area and alot of peace and quiet. I highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere to just escape from the hustle and bustle of normal life. Locatuon Is the only thing I didn't rate 5 star but knocked down to 4 because there wasn't much int he area that spiked our interest but that was fine with us because we were happy just staying on the cabin complex.
Hotel in an old house. 4 poster bed was comfy, good size room. Nice breakfast. Quiet location just out of town.
The staff here are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was really good too. The rooms are a great size, in fact on the really large size. So great for a family. The down side is there is little around the place, but great for access to Sherwood forest and local walks. It's a drive to nearby restaurants, pubs and shops. The real downside was the bed. Which was definitely past it's best. Could feel every spring.
