Stated there for a week. Cheap enough B&B. Owners an interesting character ex navy and best described as salty. It's family owned and you'll see them around. The owners deaf as a post and you'll likely hear his TV you can tell him to turn it down. Breakfast is massive. Parking is on the front drive. I had a satisfactory stay and was left to come and go as I pleased drink beer eat takeaways and left at the end of the week. Handy for work around that part of the world.

Terrible experience. Very difficult locating it. Eventually got there, there was no one home. Called their phone, no answers. Had to wait about 30 minutes before they finally showed up. Same thing happened to the person who came in a day after I did. Summary: avoid this B&B

Contrary to some reviews I had a pleasant stay. The owners were friendly and accommodating and check in was quick. The room was clean and tidy with everything I would expect. Space for several cars in on and off-road parking. All in all a good value place to stay, I would stay here again.

I cancelled my visit here because of the utter rudeness if the owner. After inquiring about check in I was immediately subjected to a series of messages in which I was described as having no common sense, being emotionally unstable and being called 'people like you' (which I really hope is to be taken on face value and has no deeper intent). Other choice pieces were that they were 'educating' me and a threat to charge me for the time he was wasting with me, which was time I felt they had wasted on his own as they seem like the type who could start an argument in an empty room. I asked several times the answer to my question which was simply if I could check in around 10am as I had a wedding to attend. In the end I informed him I wouldn't be replying g again after cancelling, at which point I was given one more reply calling me a 'mental infant'. Inexplicably and offensively rude. Can see other people have had similar experiences here, I'm glad I didn't get so far as to actually go to this place and it's rude and bullying proprietor.
