Amazingly tasty pizza - seriously one of the best I've ever had. Run by Dodo pub company but restarted by Community fundraisers so couldn't praise it more highly.
Also do tasty hot drinks and cakes from the wee cafe at the side.
Only been inside once - good beer and the main feature is the external cafe and takeaway hatch.
Really hope they prosper!
It's quirky and has a limited menu, but what they do, they do well. You can get hot drinks next-door. They let us sit in with our 2 dogs, which was great.
A great pub: fab drink selection, amazing pizza and super friendly staff!
I had a strange experience when asking for a custom order - I was told it wasn't possible in a surprisingly rude way. I understand that the menu is limited and there may be administrative issues, but being rude and sarcastic is not necessary. And all this after waiting 10+ minutes to be called to the bar, when there were no other customers ordering...some customer service lessons are needed before I return!
Great food and beer. Poor waitress hit the dirt on the staircase on the way up in front of everyone. She got up and powered on like a true hero. Will come again.
