Perfect stay at Minster Mill, just the escape that me and my partner needed! Room- perfect size, clean and comfortable. Spa- a little bit of direction would have been great as to using the changing room and what facilities we could have used. Spa was well presented and was one of the highlights! Restaurant- wonderful, full of flavour and a gorgeous room/ bar to relax in. Well decorated and again lovely staff. Stunning views outside, very quaint. Not a lot to do in the area but perfect for 1 nights stay. Would recommend a visit! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Minister Mill, we had a feature room which meant that we had a chimea and views of the stream passing our room. Rooms come with Dyson hair dryer and fans as standard which was an added bonus. All the staff was very helpful, however the bar staff could be better organised. Due to the multiple rooms and the outside area they seem to be running around like headless chickens. We were forgotten about whilst sitting outside. But once we moved inside and raised it with the staff they were incredibly helpful. It would be useful to have one person behind the bar especially during busy times and the rest if the staff doing table service and I believe it would ensure a smoother experiment. I was also very impressed with Alfie's knowledge and high level of service. I would definitely visit Minister Mill again.

Went here for vegan afternoon tea which was lovely. The staff were very friendly and attentive and we were given the choice of sitting upstairs in the bar area which had a cozy atmosphere. Afterwards we walked around the grounds where there is a giant chess board, tables tennis, badminton and croquet as well as a hydroelectric generator. There is also a rose garden and you could walk along the river Windrush. Great place for couples or romantic outings.

Stayed for a few nights. The location is lovely but the front of house service is sometimes lacking. Before we arrived we had mentioned twice, once via booking.com once via phone, that it was our honeymoon and upon arrival we didnt even get a congratulations, which we felt was poor. I had asked for room to be decorated with flower petals, again, nothing was in the room. We also ordered a best of British hamper which was very expensive for what we got. The freshly prepared salad was some leaves in a tupperbox, home made sausage rolls were prepacked pork pies in plastic wrappers. For what you spent, it was definitely not worth it. The spa was also near to impossible to get hold of on the phone in the lead up to the day and upon arrival was ok. What we really enjoyed was how attentive and good the restaurant and serving staff in that area were great!!!!! We dined out at the hotel twice and the food was delicious, would defo recommend eating there!!!

A beautiful and tranquil escape just a stone's throw away from a never ending supply of quintessentially British villages and towns. The stream and lock are an added bonus as is the wonderful food available at the on site restaurant. You can't go wrong with this place when you need to escape the monotony of the inner city.
