Having used other off-site options previously I am almost hesitant to sing the praises of Love Fields in case we don't get in next year. Essentially they offer (as you'll see from the website) a number of different camping options from "pitch your own" through to the very impressive AirStream caravans. Some options give you access to a sit-down restaurant serving breakfast (and included in the package) - their "VIP offering". All options provide access to catering, showers and toilets (although the VIP offering would seem to be slightly better catered for - but at a price that reflects that). Regardless of whether you at VIP or non-VIP, the real benefit of Love Fields is it's proximity to the main festival site. It is not a stone's throw - it is closer! Staff were friendly, facilities clean and we had the most amazing time.

The Ryanair of Glastonbury offsite camping. Ask yourself why the new name of Glastonbury Docks?? Its a cynical attempt to shrug off the awful performance last year. Be warned. Perhaps they'll be better in 2020. Perhaps they are even worse. The prices have already increased sharply. And they want it all when you book !! Not a deposit and pay later. £600 for a 'pitch your own tent' in 2020. £400 more if there's four people. PLUS £75 for your car !?!?! Unless you book later when it goes up even higher. £1075 for a disorganised, shambles of an experience....and that's the cheapest option!! Half that is too much. The grass was not cut before we arrived - a foot high where we were told to pitch. Lines outlining the pitches were slightly shorter, but they were cut at least two weeks before the festival. (Not the biggest deal but remember the price) Steep hill to climb to your pitch. Not nearly as close as the "42 steps" implies. We were ten minutes from the camping exit, and when that is taken into consideration other offsites are as close! Their USP is fake. You are placed a long distance from the entrance no matter which accommodation you choose. All pitches are uphill from the entrance. This is good if it rains because there should be no flooding at the top of the hill, but bear in mind that the wind got up last year (not the owners fault of course) and we saw two tents collapse as the Barren Ground (clue?!!) is so exposed. The motorhome area was lower down, and marshy in some areas - and not level. One night 2019 one of the luxury tents was broken into and everything stolen, the whole lot. Bad things happen, but this site is supposed to have 24 hour security. The only time we saw security was when they were sitting having a coffee in the morning. Walked past them for a shower, s--- and dry my hair, and half hour later (I take a while) walked past them on the way back. This was the same every morning and regularly my partner would see them there after me! Excellent job boys! The thieves were definitely more professional than the security. This is NOT a professional outfit. By accident of location, they have been able to set up a shambolically organised, cynical operation to extract money from people who don't want to use the long drops. There's a tiny dressing table area to use hairdryers (approx 5 stations with mirrors) and two extension leads for chargers and hairdryers. Did not feel safe on the damp ground. Make sure you've got a fast charging phone, because you will have to wait by it while it charges. There is no bank of lockers for charging, so nothing to prevent anyone helping themselves to your phone...which has to be left on the muddy floor! When I say floor, I mean grass. This hair drying area, is a small marquee open to one side, with no matting or boards for the floor. I also witnessed several bad-tempered arguments about people having unplugged others phones to charge their own. This is just not good enough for the hundreds of people using the site - the tens of thousands of pounds this farmer makes from this. No security for your phone at all. Use a power pack and be prepared to lose it or have it unplugged by somebody more deserving. Last year the hot showers (always very clean to be fair) were intermittent, unreliable and had long queues. A large area of the waiting area was sodden from overflowing or leaking pipes. Do you research, and when reading their website, be as cynical as they are. You know that feeling where you realise they just don't give a toss? You are not a valued customer, you are a cash machine. We won't be back to the Love Fields, Lovefield, Glastonbury Dock, or anything else run by these people. Spend your grand somewhere else AB

Second year at Love Fields Glastonbury and it was a letdown. Last year our area had its own toilets and shower. This year they combined us with the camper vans and we all shared the same amount - longer queues. There is a restaurant which we could access last year. This year it was restricted to the "VIP area". Worst of all - they turned the showers off (on the hottest day and night) saying there was a Glasto-wide water shortage. This was NOT true (and Glasto even put out a statement to that effect). Finally, there were three power strips to charge phones - not anywhere near enough - and therefore we had no phone for the last day. Sad as I enjoyed it last year but they have attempted to up profits this year and not provided the level of service that you'd expect for the money. I am looking elsewhere for next year.

Well, I am on the security detail, but it's Glastonbury, pre madness it is well attended, but could do with a lawnmower, and the location is scenic, however as it is Glastonbury it will be turned into organised chaos very shortly.

Great location but no way near enough toilets/shower for supposed luxury camping. Queues every morning from 6.30am till afternoon. One day they were completely shut off. No charging point for phones close by so everyone used the hair dryer tent, again which meant more queuing if you needed to dry your hair. Promised 24 security which we didn’t see until someone’s tent was broken into and robbed. Contacted love fields in the hope they would acknowledge there were problems this year but according to them everything was how it should be. If that’s the case, definitely not worth the money. Better glamping options available for same price else where
